Jinchuriki of Kurama and son of the Fourth Hokage, he learned Sage Mode at Mount Myoboku after Jiraiya's death and then defeated the Six Paths of Pain. Hagoromo later granted him Six Paths Sage Mode, and the nine tailed beasts entrusted their chakra to him, the combination that let him and Sasuke seal Kaguya.

Itachi's transplanted eyes gave him the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, and Hagoromo's Six Paths power woke a Rinnegan in his left eye during the Fourth Shinobi World War. That pairing supplied Amenotejikara and a Complete Body Susanoo, and it took Naruto's full Six Paths power to fight him to a draw.
